The British accountant has pleaded guilty of fraud in a case that saw the accountant stealing over £3 million so that he could place wagers on sports, which primarily was football. The accused, Darren Thompson claimed to have a fool proof system that would ensure success. He began to offer his unproven system to investors and then took that money to gamble on football, losing the entire lot. Guilty pleas have been entered by two men who reside in Oklahoma and have been accused of laundering money via illegal betting sites online relating to sportsbetting. These are federal charges and will result in stiff penalties against the two. The two guilty men, Dryden Mitchell and his father Teddy Mitchell stated to Federal District Judge David Russell that they, along with five others, operated the site during the years 2004 through to 2010.
