Tusk players only to get pennies on dollars owed

The Tusk Group has advised its players that they have until the 5th of June to make a claim against the company for monies they believe they are owed as a result of the company going into bankruptcy. It is reported that players will only receive $0.13 to $0.16 on the dollar of what they are owed. This is far from what they should receive and a disappointment for many.

Those who wish to submit a claim may do so by emailing tusk@ppbadvisory.com. Those who do submit a claim will be required to fill out the appropriate form which will provide the required information for verification processes to begin. It is expected that payment of claims will commence on or about the 21st of July, 2013. There are over 3100 known claims already received against the company with many others expected. There is only $1.31 million available to pay those claims and the amounts owned far exceeds the available funds.

This process has taken its toll and 5 years to get underway. Tusk went into bankruptcy in 2008 and clearly stated that all monies owed would not be payable as there is not enough left to pay those creditors. Tusk operated a casino and poker site and when closed left thousands of players owed large sums of money.
