Naughty Dog announced that after four employees left the company recently this month they went on a hiring spree, hiring an extra one hundred employees to their development team and moving to a new facility in order to support the new employees. Alongside the new employees came new equipment, computers, hardware and building supplies. This is why Naughty Dog had to move to a new facility.
Naughty Dog noted that these two new games don’t relate to the Uncharted Series or The Last of Us Series, reminding players that The Last of Us is truly a standalone title. These two new games will resemble the gameplay elements we know and love from Uncharted and The Last of Us. The new games will also be running on the new software that Naughty Dog is using for Uncharted 4 and will be released only for the Playstation 4.
Fans have begun to rejoice as recently Naughty Dog announced that The Last of Us will not have a sequel. Players wanted to experience more from Naughty Dog but wanted to experience more than just their beloved Nathan Drake, though fans still love the Uncharted Series. Naughty Dog has yet to release any information regarding what the two games will be about, where they’ll be set or who will be involved in them.
Currently players can look forward to Uncharted 4 being released for the Playstation 4 in January, 2015. The game is set to include two separate playable characters, one being Nathan Drake and the other being Sir Francis Drake.
